Areas requiring structure and fill, such as the placket, detachable hood, and small stand collar, are filled and pressed with silk floss to ensure the finished product maintains good shape.

Slightly A-line puffer jacket with small stand collar design. Double-opening zipper on the placket paired with the small stand collar design prevents wind entry. Mold-made hardware forms engraved metal components that can be closed all the way up to the top edge of the collar, enhancing windproof and warm-keeping functions.
The front of the garment has left and right flap patch pockets on the chest, plus two side welted inner pockets. A single small patch pocket is added inside the garment on one side for added detail. The front and back panels of the garment, and the pockets, are pattern-matched when cut, and sewn with matching color thread for pattern alignment. The placket and pocket flaps are closed with antique silver engraved snap buttons.
